This is the last song that Greg wrote lyrics to before he passed. It was supposed to be for our hardcore band, but it sounds a little more haunting stripped down.
“Casper”
I’m pushing forward, sometimes, I miss you. But you were gone by the time summer left. I wait patiently for my loved ones. The cold finds a new home in this flesh-wrapped tomb. My successes are for me alone and the ghosts of my life before. Spectator to specter. I’m haunted by laughter I’ll never hear again. The bus rides to the lake are always alone, while you embrace true love and build a new home. I sigh hopelessness. Sobriety is funny especially when your dying and horny.
“Bit Part” (Lemonheads cover)
When I can’t sleep, I make a lo-fi version of one of my favorite songs.
EP is dunzo. Download it for free by clicking the link. Reblog this, I don’t currrr.
Even Angels are Liars
A hardcore song I wrote years ago that I felt like revisiting for fun. Maybe I’ll rerecord it with drums or some shit.
“am/pm” (Originally by American Nightmare/Give Up the Ghost)
A few years ago, I had an idea to do a version of this song on an acoustic guitar and turn it into a coffee shop jam. Then I forgot about it. I was cleaning out some files and I found some notes I had on it and decided to give it a whirl for fun. I’ll probably go back and turn down the keys and turn up the drum tracks. I’m feeling lazy tonight, but it’s not too bad considering I did it all in 30 mins or so.
Also, this was just in time for the band’s reunion shows.
“She Used to Call Me ‘Boy’”
New demo I’ve been working on. Pianos and shit will be on this probably.
